Shop Life Update: Bargains, New Arrivals and a Hint of Festive Cheer
If you’ve been following us on social media, you’ll know it’s been manic in the shop these past couple of weeks, and we absolutely love it that way.
Our End of Season Sale kicked off last week, and the response has been incredible. We decided to go all in and mark every single sale item at 50% off, and you’ve all made the most of it. Shelves have been emptying fast and bargains have been flying out the door. It’s been such a joy seeing so many of you popping in to grab your favourites while they last.
A Fresh New Look (and Some Gorgeous New Gifts!)
We’ve had a little re-jig around the shop, you know we can’t resist moving things about, and a few beautiful new items have crept in too. One of the highlights is our brand new Gift Sets from Isle of Skye Candle Co. These luxurious sets have been going down a storm.
They’re extra special because, for the first time, they include a reed diffuser available in four of Skye’s best-selling scents.
If you’re looking for something a little bit special for a gift, or just to treat yourself, these are perfect.
The First Signs of Christmas
Our festive cheer is slowly making its way in too. Every year we find it such a challenge to strike the right balance between launching Christmas too early or too late, it’s never easy. But once the sale dust settles, we’ll have a bit more breathing space to work our magic and transform the shop into the Christmas wonderland you all know and love.
Keep a close eye on our website as well, our Christmas collections will start going live very soon, and there are so many new things this year that we’re certain you’re going to adore.
Local Life on the High Street
The Merchants House Café has re-opened this week after their much-deserved family holiday (we’re sure they’re feeling refreshed). Meanwhile, Helen next door at Pier 88 has been keeping everyone well hydrated with plenty of coffee and smiles while they were away. ☕️
Back in Stock and Better Than Ever
Our Highland Soap Co. range has now been fully restocked, so if you’ve been waiting for your favourites, they’re all back on the shelves. And our brand new wax melts have been flying out, the feedback has been amazing, so thank you for all your lovely messages and photos. Don't forget, we also have our hand wash refill service in-store, saving you a tidy sum on your favourite scented soap! It is just 2p per ml, meaning a 300ml refill (standard bottle size) would cost you just £6.00.
A Quick Heads-Up
A little bit of housekeeping to finish: we’ll be closed on Tuesday 21st October for the full day. We’ll make sure to remind everyone via social media and Google too, but please do plan your visits around that if you can.
