Our First Blog of 2026… and It’s Almost March!
We genuinely cannot believe we are writing our first blog of 2026 and we are already nearly into March. January flew by in a blur and February has been just as full on. If this is how the year has started, we cannot wait to see what the rest of 2026 brings.
Our Busiest Start to a Year Ever
This has officially been our strongest start to a new year since we opened. The shop has been busy, the website has been buzzing and the support has been incredible.
There is something really special about seeing the High Street lively in the darker months. Whether you popped in for a bespoke print, a new candle, a thoughtful gift or just a browse, you have helped make this our best January & February yet. We are so grateful.
So Much New Stock
If you have not visited recently, you will notice a big difference.
We have been busy refreshing the shop floor and there is newness everywhere you look. There are brand new in house print designs, fresh home fragrances for the lighter months, and beautiful new cushions that are perfect for the change in season.
We have added lots of new vases and decorative styling pieces too, making it easier than ever to update your space for spring. Our much loved Tree of Life pieces are finally back in stock, and we know so many of you have been waiting for those.
We have also fully stocked up on JoJo Co favourites, brought in more reed diffuser refills and replenished our Home of Hopcroft wax melts. It really has been go, go, go behind the scenes.
The shop feels refreshed, curated and completely ready for the season ahead.
Spring Has Arrived in Store
It may still be chilly some mornings but inside the shop, spring has definitely arrived.

Soft pastels, fresh scents and lighter textures are making everything feel brighter. It is such a lovely time of year to update your space or pick up something special for someone you love.
Mother’s Day and Easter will be here before we know it, so we have made sure there is plenty of choice whether you are looking for something sentimental, practical or just beautifully gift wrapped and ready to go.
Open 7 Days a Week 10am to 4pm
We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm.
We have always loved being open on a Sunday, but this year we have extended our hours. Instead of opening 12 to 4, we are now open from 10am, giving you an extra two hours to shop on a Sunday.
It has made such a difference already. Those slower, sunny spring mornings are perfect for getting out early, enjoying a walk along the prom and then wandering up to the High Street.
Even better, Merchants House Café next door opens at 9am every Sunday. Coffee first, then a proper browse with us. It really does feel like a lovely little Sunday routine waiting to happen.
Christmas Feels Like a Lifetime Ago
It almost feels strange talking about Christmas now but what a season it was.
The atmosphere, the music, the gift wrapping, the last minute dashes for stocking fillers, the laughter and the busyness. It was intense, joyful and completely unforgettable.
Seeing so many of you choose gifts for people you love is something we never take for granted. Christmas 2025 was truly special and it set the tone for what has already been an incredible start to this year.
Looking Ahead
2026 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet.
We have more new product launches planned, more bespoke designs coming and plenty of seasonal collections still to reveal. We are constantly evolving and refining what we offer while staying true to what Home of Hopcroft is all about: thoughtful pieces, beautiful homeware and genuine, personal service.
If you have not visited yet this year, come and see what is new. Make a morning of it. Walk the prom, grab a coffee next door and have a proper browse.
